Susan Jefferies has lived in Dorset for more than twenty five years, the last fifteen in Corfe Mullen and her four sons all attended Corfe Hills School.

She is an active member of Corfe Mullen Parish Council and a governor at both Rushcombe and Corfe Hills Schools.

She is a member of the Dorset Fire Authority and has a special interest in the risk of heath fires on the SSSI.

She is a member of the Fostering Panel at Dorset County Council.

She is also an active member of the Beacon Hill Liason Committee, the Corfe Mullen Youth Club Management Committee and the Corfe Mullen Sports Association Committee.
